Sujit Choudhry is the founder of the Center for Constitutional Transitions. It is one of the largest legal organizations in the world. He uses this organization to help countries gain legal recognition. Sujit Choudhry was born in 1970 in New Delhi, India. He was known to be visionary and passionate about law making. He grew up in a family that has a strong education background as both his parents were professors. This motivated him to work hard in school. He attended his high school education at Toronto and later on joined McGill University to study biology. However, Sujit Choudhry did not have a keen interest in biology than he had in law. Today, Sujit has a law degree from Harvard, Oxford and Toronto University. The education background gives him basic skills to succeed both political decision making and political policy arena. He is also able to run his organization amicably by partnering with global multilateral organizations and NGO’s to create efficient constitutions for new countries. Sujit Choudhry is recognized for the ability to address several key issues regarding politics and constitutional law. He has also helped resolve some civil wars in countries with collapsed democracies. In Canada, Sujit has been involved in researching and writing widely on matters regarding the constitutional law of Canada.
