Sujit Choudhry Discusses Constitutional Matters in Ukraine

As a man with Indian roots, Sujit traveled much to garner different law experiences across different countries. Recently, Sujit Choudhry joined a world-class workshop of experienced law-experts to discuss the challenges that Ukraine faces regarding law and constitution. Among the present members in that seminar included law experts from different parts of the world. These individuals gave their opinion regarding the power issues that Ukraine had.

Sujit’s Sentiments

With the experts, Sujit Choudhry stated that Ukraine needed a strong sharing power government with the president being the leader in facilitating the matter. Sujit Choudhry said that he was honored to be part of an instrumental discussion that would later transition the Ukrainian political landscape. The scholars were of the opinion that the president should find a way of disseminating power to different ministries.

The Attendees

The attendance list in the workshop included Sergyi Holovatyi of the Ukraine Constitutional Commission and Sumit Bisarya of the Institute of Democracy as well as Electoral Assistance. Vladimir Vasilenko of Ukraine’s United Nations and Viktor Musiaka were also in attendance. Power Inclusion

The discussion at the workshop covered productive areas. Additionally, it highlighted the ongoing instability of the country’s democratization. Since this has been the primary issue of power concentration, the parties concluded that the nation needs a balanced system of democratic parties and policies for stability. That was a significant discussion given the implementation challenges that Ukraine has.

Power Separation

Sujit Choudhry and the experts also discussed power separation within the government. It was mainly noted that the government has a compelling president with weaker ministries.
